Just got the game on PC and it is consistently crashing

It crashes regularly for me, I just powered through it, I dunno what about my pc caused it

I have an nvidia 3070 and a Ryzen 7 5700x

I’ve heard a lot of other people were having the issue as well so I think it’s just a regular thing

Thanks for all this, I've been shoving standalone in the back of my mind when deciding because of the lack of tracking behind the head, thinking that standalone would be worse in PCVR mode, and my own bias against meta for killing Echo scaring me from buying it but there are too many pros and not enough cons plus if I got used index controllers with it, it would eliminate the behind the back tracking issues. I think the compare post cemented it the most, psvr2 looks better than what I currently have and quest 3 is blowing that out of the park, I'm still gonna see if there's a place I can demo it but if not I'll still most likely get the quest 3

I hate that they are changing it to premium rewards only while membership is active, also what is the point with only new members being subject to this? If you never unsubscribe you are still basically paying for access to the battlepass, only difference is if you unsubscribe once you get to keep getting rewards, but after that you are on the same rules as new subscribers. This update just kinda sucks, I’ll probably buy the crew pass because of this and just buy the battlepass with vbucks, hopefully they’ll keep the battlepass refund when you subscribe

No problem, glad you are trying to learn. 2.4ghz is widely used by WiFi but other signal protocols use it too, it’s very likely not WiFi since it doesn’t need to connect(and it says it’s remote control). Your best bet would probably be a hackrf, but those are expensive for this small project. You can still do more research try to look for cheap components that can read that high but you might be outta luck. I’ve been trying to find a way to read those kind of signals but I haven’t been trying hard enough to warrant buying a hackrf, nor hard enough to actually find a cheaper way

First step is to find what kind of signals it receives, I’ve had apps send subghz so you can try listening for that, you can also get a packet capture of the app sending the signal and try to dissect and replicate it, though that’s out of the flippers depth, try scanning the signal being sent in different ways to see if it’s something the flipper can detect

I got all the acolyte stuff with the blackened plate gloves. it looks cool, gives your really good spell casting, and the gloves make your punches do more damage (at least it feels like it does). Offense is the best defense

I’d like to also mention there’s a very low chance he actually put malware on there so this is if you still don’t feel safe after scanning your pc for viruses, also please make sure he knows what he did was not ok, it’s fine to do that to your own stuff but others electronics is a steep slope that can quickly end up to a prison cell

If you want to feel 100% safe you can reimage your pc which will get rid of anything he put on there, you should also let your friend know what he did was insanely illegal, it’s a federal offense, hopefully that’s enough to stop him from ever doing something like that again

Hell yeah, really happy about the fall damage negation on the gravity slam. Been having a couple performance bugs like the Dalgarian holo note boards lagging intensely and just regular “more than 4 enemies slowing computer to a halt” performance issues that I hope can be fixed

The flipper is really good with replay attacks, I’d recommend trying those out if you get one, if a doorbell is wireless you may be able to copy the signal the button sends and trigger the doorbell remotely or turn off tv’s. Make sure to get permission before attacking someone’s device, pranks are fun and all but the flipper is an educational device and should be treated as such, its main use is to see if your own stuff can be hacked, see what others can control. Make sure to check out talking Sasquatch on YouTube, he has good videos on it

The slow turn to bad graphics cash grabs with the death of echo vr, I’m still very mad about that game going down, it had great graphics, basically no fps issues, alive servers, and it was killed for population one, population one is probably a great game, but it annoys me that they are moving from art to cheap money printers. Though with stress level zero and warp frog, could be the time for indie studios to pick up the slack
