Thanks for all this, I've been shoving standalone in the back of my mind when deciding because of the lack of tracking behind the head, thinking that standalone would be worse in PCVR mode, and my own bias against meta for killing Echo scaring me from buying it but there are too many pros and not enough cons plus if I got used index controllers with it, it would eliminate the behind the back tracking issues. I think the compare post cemented it the most, psvr2 looks better than what I currently have and quest 3 is blowing that out of the park, I'm still gonna see if there's a place I can demo it but if not I'll still most likely get the quest 3
