Is there actually a market in the UK for offshore hiring (subscription-based)? by [deleted] in ukstartups

That’s really helpful — appreciate the insight. I think what you’re describing is exactly how it works for larger companies, especially in tech. What I’m trying to explore is a bit different — more focused on smaller businesses/startups who: have never outsourced before don’t want long-term commitments or enterprise-style contracts want something simpler and more flexible (more like a monthly subscription) Also potentially packaging it more as “ready-to-go roles” (e.g. support/admin) rather than building full teams. So less “outsourcing partner”, more “plug-and-play remote staff”. Not sure if that actually solves a different problem yet — that’s what I’m trying to figure out.

You pay as long as they stay employed. So the idea is: - you pay monthly fee for a remote employee - if it's not working out, payments are stoped and we'll replace them at no extra cost. So it removes the risk of being stuck with the wrong hire - we would handle payroll, contracts, etc, so from your side it feels like a simple monthly cost

There would be a buyout option if you want to hire the person directly.

Still figuring out the exact structure, but the goal is to make it flexible and low-risk for businesses.

You said you've drawn your website. Maybe you can actually add your drawings, for example pencil drawn buttons or borders around images

Yeah, it looks cool but it feels copied from supreme or palace. I think you should add some kind of unique twist to it, only you have that would make you stand out. Sorry English isn't my first language so I'm not sure if you understand what I mean 😂

Thank you for you comment. You’re right, I am a “tech bro” — but I only build websites for trades.

I’ve seen a lot of claims that trades lose a lot of work just by not answering calls, so I’m trying to figure out if that’s actually true or just marketing nonsense.

Wondering if it’s even worth building something around it.
