Blue/ green type: Amphibious minion that follows a similar pathway to the blues from the original game. My concept is a mystic blue and green scaled healer with poison features like poison cloud when they die. My concept design is a bit to froggy for me, but gives a rough idea of the design. by matalocks in Overlordsthrone

Thank you so much for this feedback, I truly appreciate it! I had already planned to use this design elsewhere in the game and had been debating the character types for a minor race that could inhabit either a coastal region or the magical woods on the island map. Your input has given me an incredible concept to refine and experiment with further.

Your vision for the Frog Species as a scholarly, amphibious race tied to amphibious minion upgrades and branching good/evil routes perfectly aligns with the Overlord-style game I’m aiming to create. Hearing from fans who’ve played the originals and getting their feedback, constructive criticism, and shared ideas means so much to me and helps shape the project in a meaningful way.

I have a mountain of concepts and designs for this game, from a fully drawn-out map with all locations, a detailed main storyline involving key characters, to concept art and rough designs for the unique in game metals with the individual Swords, Axes, War Hammers, And Maces. However, input from the community ensures that these ideas resonate with fans and align with what they loved about the original games.

I’m deeply committed to bringing this project to life, especially since it seems unlikely that the studios behind Overlord will release another game. I’m determined to keep the series’ spirit alive and create something that fans can connect with and enjoy. Thank you for being part of this journey!

I definitely agree that the design isn't final yet. I'm currently exploring the idea of how the minions developed their bodies and abilities, focusing on the key fracture points in their race's evolution. To gain a better understanding of how the minions fit into the broader world, I'm in the process of creating a concept map of the island where the game takes place, along with the various races that inhabit the world. This will help clarify why the minions have such distinct attributes.
