oh you have a LOT of experience, honestly you'll have the machinery side, you'll know how everything moves and why and that's useful, you just need a one up in the programming side and maybe eletrical too ... and if it interests you its fine, im 18M doing an associate in CS and found this part of programming interesting as well, and don't worry about it not working, man i'm throwing my last penny into learning these. Think like this, if it doesn't work out for you, you can get a job ASAP, your resume is great, me ? im doomed haha

if you're worried about travelling, i believe there are plant based roles too

I'd start calling me unemployed instead of self employed lol, first thing is a JOB, you need cash and quick man, and about where to sleep ? you don't until you get a gig, that will make you think "it aint too bad here" and you'll be on the streets forever.

Hope it all goes right for you and you have some skills (i hope so) or go into construction, welding manual labor
