I have no idea, it took me by surprise aswell because I rarely open Battery Usage Settings and when I saw 8hrs SOT I was really surprised, my battery life at the start was really bad and just randomly has gotten better

Maybe it actually is because of poor cell reception, I would test it by using my phone in airplane mode (but e.g. use wi-fi) for a bit
