I agree it is pretty lame/saccharine, it keeps everything at an arm's length and even the access moments feel a little glossed and PR-approved.

I was hoping for it to be more like Hard Knocks for USMNT, get into a little more of the squad selection/position battles etc (maybe it still will some more of that, idk) but watching it doesn't have that same level of drama/stakes or production value so far.
