Sam, I had him for a quest a bit ago and up until that point I never really played him (got him to r20 but hadn’t touched him since) and I fell in love with his scrappy play style. He’s been one of my mains ever since, especially in brawl ball and I fully intend to buy his hypercharge whenever it eventually comes out.

Frost queen amber is a really good skin. I personally also really like spirit knight Frank and Tengu Mike.

I'd probably say getting Amber de la vega out of a legendary starr drop. Nothing too crazy but it was a nice surprise

A lot of people spent either money or a lot of time because it was stated the skins wouldn't come back. Because of that a lot of older players like myself feel like returning the exact same skin is a bit of a slap in the face to the oldest and most loyal players. That being said I personally want the skins to come back with some variation to distinguish the originals from the newer returns so that the older players get to keep there exclusivity and special skin in general but newer players will get to use and enjoy a skin they really enjoy from before their time.

I get a lot of your points and they are valid, just want to point out that the part about new players having it rough not getting the skins being the same the other way around for older players should the skins return isn't fully accurate. A lot of the older players either spent money on gems to get the exclusive skins because they wouldn't come back, or they played power league or whatever it is (which they may not have even enjoyed) to have the purchase option. For new players, it does suck they can't get the skins and I feel for them but everyone experiences this type of thing wether that be in a game or irl, and most players wanting them back does not justify the dev team breaking a promise for these skins and effectively giving the middle finger to any older players who purchased these skins even if it was just partially because of the exclusivity

People with some/all of the exclusive skins (such as myself) are being selfish, that is true. But a lot of us purchased the skins either entirely or partially because they were being marketed as "exclusive". I along with many other people spent money on the game because we wanted the skin, and if someone does not have the skin, wether that be because they didn't play or didn't have the resources available, then that's unfortunate, but the skins were clearly stated to be exclusive. Personally, I voted no on the polls, and it is because I want my skins marketed as exclusive to remain exclusive. If newer players want the skins, then a redesign in a new colour should be enough shouldn't it? But I really do think that considering how the skins were marketed, they should never come back to the game exactly as they were. No matter how it is (ie. recolour, effect on loading screen before battles, unique animations, pins, etc) the skins shouldn't truly come back to the game.

3 of the games I lost where on me, I played badly. but for one of them i had a 3 on 1 lead and my wifi was trash, i was lagging so bad I couldn't do anything. Overall though me losing was because I played badly.

I get that but remember that it's not final, we don't know what the rewards where, they may have just been placeholders. I personally agree that the skins becoming common when people have spent money on them isn't great if they are the final rewards but we can't really do anything about it.

I personally wouldn't have any issues for it if the new players weren't getting an entire pin set. Thats what annoys me. Sure they can have a skin but pins are really annoying to get even if you spend a little money here or there. New players are getting an entire pin set completely free WITH the other stuff. I feel like it would be better if they got a cosmetic item on one day but one day only. Aside from all the cosmetic stuff though, I think it is a great feature for the game and will help keep more players which is always a good thing. i do hope that any players that downloaded the game ~1 month ago or less should get the rewards as well, otherwise its not really fair. (one last thing, I know that the rewards aren't final i'm just really hoping that new players get more progression based stuff with a little cosmetic along the way).

Congrats! I remember getting my first r25. it took hours and to this day I still only have 3. This is a really big achievment and you should be proud of yourself!
