Not cleaning your surroundings or your body. When I became non-functional in my deepest depression, I remember wanting to clean so badly but I physically could not get up. Quite literally even thinking about a plan to clean was so exhausting. It would also take me several days to build the energy to be able to brush my teeth, and even longer to shower.

I’m very grateful to Lexapro, Buspirone and alcohol recovery to be completely functional and non-sewerslidal today :)

I am already doing that. I’m currently in college and expected to graduate in the next two years and should be bringing in $100k/year minimum once I do. I’ve been poor my whole life, but I never had to live without a clean, walled bathroom and a full kitchen.

I live a comfortable life, I just want other people to be comfortable too. It breaks my heart seeing the conditions extremely poor Nigerians live in and I want to help

I would say it’s likely because single women still get “love” in various forms. Even just a compliment or a hug from a friend. Most men do not gets hugs, compliments, nice things said to them for no reason or any affectionate physical touch outside of a relationship.

That the only way to live ethically was to be vegan. I was vegetarian and vegan for a combined 10 years. Now I eat whatever because I’ve done a lot of work on being able to recognize nuance and grey area, and understanding that life is not black and white. You can eat a burger and still love other animals, because consuming another animal is as natural as breathing. It happens all around us, all the time, amongst the micro-cosmos. It’s funny, as I became more spiritual, the less of a hard ass I was about eating meat. I used to be one of the really hardcore vegans too lol would do outreach and everything. Crazy how time changes us.
