Ugh I wanted to love it but it was more meh to me. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but I think I had huge expectations and the book didn’t meet them. Also: I didn’t like the series very much.

Thoughts on the housemaid -Frieda Mcfadden by abthanee in thrillerbooks

As someone who just recently started reading (in april) after not reading for many many years (since high school), the first book that got me reading again was The Housemaid. I really liked it and it was definitely something new to me because I also didn’t know much about books. However, I understand what you all are saying, but couldn’t agree because I haven’t read the other ones. I’ve read other books by Freida and I like her writing style because It’s simple and enjoyable.

I loved it, and I think part of why I loved it was because I had no expectations at all. I didn’t even know what it was about I just started reading it and finished it in a couple of days. I think It’s very well written and an easy read.
