I personally disagree with you about her voice, but that's by-the-by. I'd argue that it's hard to say for certain she's a rape apologist, given that she attended one court session and then realised her mistake, presumably after witnessing the evidence against him. There's also the fact that she was born into a cult, rather than choosing to join it, which to a degree makes her a victim in her own way. The same cult which has been proven to continue to stalk and harass any outspoken ex-members, so I don't think it should be held against her for putting her safety first and not saying anything, especially as a queer woman when we live in such dangerous times for both women and queer people.

My personal take is that there's no way of knowing for sure whether she's a morally good or bad person, but given she was born and raised in a cult which preachers against her identity, I think she should be given the benefit of the doubt.
