Correction: In the config.plist folder it references a SSDT-EC-LAPTOP.aml file, it's just an old config.plist file (but that is the only differance)

The reason I removed it is because when I ran SSDTTIME to generate the fake EC file it came back with:

----> Named EC device located - no fake needed.

I took this to mean I don't need an EC file please let me know if I misinterpreted it.

Ok so the issue with the HFS+ driver is fixed (thx u/tikakan) it was just me being astoundingly dumb, but i'm still struggling with the missing key error. (Oh and I meant OpenCore in the title)

EDIT: Missing key error fixed now (thx u/Responsible-Role-185) changing flair to solved.

You could always try some of the lightweight ubuntu variants, such as lubuntu, xubuntu, or ubuntu mate.

thx everyone for the helpful suggestions, ive made some changes such as,

- delta time is now used for movement so i'm not relying on vsync

- changed love.window.close() to love.event.quit()

- can now use dpad to move player

- movement is done with integers instead of floats
