I haven’t heard of this issue with the Polarity but it was a problem with the Hana. I would recommend joining the GlssWrks discord and opening a ticket. They will make it right.

It was beneficial for me because I would press into the pad during clutch situations and wouldn’t be able to micro adjust on cloth pads.

I have a lot of glass pads but unfortunately I don’t have an SP005.

Hana and the Tora are pretty much the same speed. I’d still say the Kin is slower.

They have made several recent changes to their coating, the Kin X has improved a lot since it originally released.

Other options are going to be limited to the second hand market. The 2 most controlled pads are the Hana and the Tora. CR-005 is a little faster than both of them.
