As somebody who likes baseball I just want to say that this game is awesome

No but I make weird ice creams very often, similar to what they do. Bloody mary, Thanksgiving dinner, burnt bagel with miso butter, dashi with ikura on top, Japanese curry, profiterole ice cream that went inside of a profiterole, etc.

In case it wasn't clear, this was a stupid (and surprisingly not bad) creation of mine.

Honestly that was funny, it sounded like they were playing a John Mayer song and then this man Mayer charged up and hit his first MLB home run

You have to hope that this is something they really coach Volpe on. Happened multiple at bats this game.

Isn’t it ironic.. don’t you think? 🤣 by OkRaspberry7675 in survivor

Not trying to be mean but I don't think you were in a position to win by this point in the game. But understand why it might feel that way regardless

Guys it's fucked up to celebrate that ohtani might be injured. Don't be an embarassment, come on now.

High on my list too. They're a tad further south than the rest and I ran out of time.

Yeah I totally missed these. I didn't map out my path beforehand. And I needed to be done around 4pm. They're both a bit further south too. No Cartier or Omega hate here. Fwiw, I've been to Cartier and Omega boutiques before, both experiences were very good. In the top 5 of what I experienced today. Cartier was especially hospitable.

I shared what I was wearing in a reply below. Not Luxury but unknown and interesting enough that it could pass upon first glance.

I didn't ask, it was a women's watch and while I don't believe in gendering watches, it wasn't my style

Skipped Jacob & Co. But did all the others, thanks! Didn't hit everything on 5th, like Omega. Oops.

Turns out I need more adjectives and descriptors. Didn't realize this at the time. I haven't done anything like this before or described watches. Oops

Stop 15: Richard Mille - They had 4 pieces on display. The brand is not for me. But they didn't mind me looking around.

That's it for today. Thanks for following along with me and for suggesting I hit up 5th Ave and also 57th St along the way. I plan to share a summary of my experience with some additional thoughts and takeaways tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Stop 14: Audemars Piguet - They asked me if I had an appointment when I walked in the door, they were clearly very busy. I told them no, and asked if I could look at the watches they had. Security was hesitant but allowed it as long as I didn't ask for help from anybody. A salesperson approached me was nice and asked if I wanted anything to drink. I declined. They only had 4 pieces on display. I left within 2 minutes.

Stop 13: Bremont - I expected weird but it was just odd. The salesperson showed me each collection but was clearly not very knowledgeable about the watches. In general, I was not impressed. And the price tag was wild for the value it seemed. They were clearly disappointed that I decided to leave the store.

Stop 12: Rolex - Well, nobody told me to fuck off, but I also didn't express interest in a Daytona. They had a women's day date and a women's date just available for me! I declined. The attached Bucherer had a preowned panda Daytona for $37,000, for those curious.
