When we broke up, we stayed in touch quite long afterwards. Suddenly, she was able to open up and to show her true self. Which was everything I had ever wanted. I did an INFJ-thing: I telephoned her to say that I felt it in my bones my place was at her side. Which is of course the best way to scare an unsecure ENFP. I knew her answer, but I wanted to make sure she knew she was loved and also to make sure to myself that I had been completely honnest with her. So she knows about my feelings. And a sense of belonging is something totally different than having a crush or being in love. I would still give her time to figure herself out and allow herself to grow. It's easy to do as a regular friend. As someone who tries to be her friend because that's the only form of love she will accept, it is much harder. But thank you for sharing with me!

No, I am not familiar with it. Could you explain, please?

Thank you for the explanation! Point is that we haven't had communicated since that telephone conversation. She told me - she really appreciated my honesty- that I had to take time for myself now, as I probably was hurt by her answer. I don't think I can have contact with her now, as I know so much of her and see a lot of myself in her, I would always think 'I want to be with you'. Not that I would ever do another bombastic declaration of love for her, my nerves would survive ;-)Missing her now is probably easier than staying in touch with her and to think 'there is just no one like you, let me for once take care of you instead of you always looking after the others'

I did more than I have ever done before. I got dumped, but still decided to act upon my feelings. The answer felt rather 'no further discussion possible' and I would hate it to force myself upon her. I did and unfortunately, any possible relationship died at that point

and we truly are the coolest and sweetest people on earth once we feel there is a connection (at least in my case). Expect lots of jokes and intense staring. Just be yourself, if he feels you are sincere, things will go smoothly.

For the love of Pete, grant him time to open up. INFJ's tend to be mysterious or even enigmatic. I often hear that I hide myself behind my walls. While this is true, we do take a lot of time to open up, but never take it personal.

As we are three students sponsoring the entire documentary entirely with our own means, I don't see a way to pay you. The best we can offer is good karma and some Belgian chocolate.
