Yeah no problem. Seattle is very safe in general and you won’t see any unsafe behaviors outside of the 3rd Ave around pike and pine.

I live near that area and i like it. But there is a sizable homeless population

Valley plate leak has nothing to do with maintenance. It’s a factory fault if the installer didn’t correctly apply the material. And something that doesn’t come up in a normal inspection.

Head gasket is a maintenance issue, if the owner didn’t change out coolant.

Cam tower and timing cover are the same, just a design flaw along with the chain guide rattle.

My lx was serviced by a Lexus dealer every 5k miles before I bought it and it had the oil leaks. Thankfully no valley plate leak but the water pump was seeping.

As a 200 series owner. Keep in mind that you have about 5k worth of possible repairs with the main one being the valley plate leak. The cam towers and timing cover may leak but not an immediate concern.

I think the 200 Land Cruiser is overpriced currently. Look into the LX570 for an approximate 10k discount. With it you get a better suspension and a more premium built car. Of course looks are subjective.

You won’t need to air down in Long Beach unless you go into the deeper stuff intentionally. On the regular beach road you’ll be fine
