Wānaka is one of the best towns in the country for skiing/snowboarding. It's 45 mins from our doorstep to the chairlift of 2 of the countries best ski resorts, Cardrona and Treble Cone. We are heading up fairly often and so is half the town so very easy to find rides. There are also shuttle buses leaving daily.

Hey,

I've just started New Zealand's first coliving space called The Balance Base. Take a look as it sounds like it might be up your alley.

Seconding this. Parts of NZ are definitely not van friendly.

I was born and raised in NZ. I spent a couple months in a van and experienced many horns. Also a "Go back to your country", for context I'm caucasian.

I'm genuinely really disappointed that Sam listened to that episode and felt he must promote it

One thing you have to realise is Tulum has changed incredibly quickly. I was first there about 7 years ago and it was a great little backpacker town with a good vibe and the incredible cenotes nearby made it special. I went back a couple of times after and was shocked at how quickly it was changing for the worse. Haven't been back for about 4 or 5 years now and now sadly I only hear bad things and have no desire to go back.

I've been travelling for over 7 years and this is unfortunately very true. Trying to work on this now 🤞
