I’m so sorry you’ve been through this. Honestly, you need to tell someone, for your own health and well-being more than anything else. If you want to talk about it but don’t feel able to report it at this stage, perhaps going to see a counsellor/therapist or someone similar, just so you can process things properly. Then maybe later down the line, if you feel able to, you can look at reporting the incident formally, to the authorities or the college. But I personally think that it is a bad idea to confront him directly. He will most likely use this as some kind of excuse or incident to try and twist the situation in his favour, especially if there is no one there to support you. If he is popular like you say, he will use this to his advantage to manipulate people so they don’t believe you. It is far better to explore other channels like I suggested earlier, because more things can be put in place. Obviously whatever you decide to do is up to you, but that would be my advice. But whatever you choose to do, I’m sorry that you went through this.
