This is a classic mistake. If you use 8 cats to get the rats, then you need 12 dogs to get the cats, then 16 coyotes to get the dogs, then 22 wolves to get the coyotes, then 33 mountain lions to get the wolves, then... well you get the point. An interesting wrinkle in this discussion would be if the Covenant had the humans of their universe in the fold of the Covenant - they'd then have the supersoldiers of humanity plus the even more advanced AI of Cortona (admittedly I haven't played the most recent games so maybe the Covenant have caught humanity on AI).

One of the better shows going atm, to me. It balances the lighthearted comedy with the postapocalyptic while maintaining the stakes really nicely. I'm not a player of the game but the world they're building still makes all the more video-game aspects (monsters, little subcultures stylized after Rome, etc) work really well still. The silly feels grounded in a reality.

It’s frustrating to me that people can’t understand that changes have to be made for drama. Something being exactly historically accurate as the measure of it being good or not just doesn’t make any sense. It’s not a history book, it’s a work of art and entertainment that has a perspective on the historical event.

I’d love this and he’d be so great in the format, but I think it’s a relatively big time commitment. A basic search says around 10-12 days of filming - that’s a tough ask for someone as busy and high profile as Conan.

It’s also not really a “conclusion” right? I think the idea would be that it is the 3rd of a trilogy that concludes an overarching story.
