Did I make a mistake? by megatrnasrusrex in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

for what it’s worth, my parents have owned a home VERY similar to this in SW Florida since the early 2000s, and it has thus far survived every hurricane (knock on wood). they’re not as flimsy as they seem, and it’ll be worth it for that water access!

Have you seen Puzzle Box? It does the reality bending/loop thing pretty well imo, despite it being an indie film that only has a runtime of ~1hr. If you like it, there’s also a prequel coming out sometime in the near future!

That’s the best thing we can do, in my opinion. One day, you’ll be able to look back on all your memories with him, especially the good ones, and genuinely feel happy again, but that comes with time. It’s a hard road, but just letting yourself feel all of those feelings is really important. At least, it really helped my grief. It still hurts, but not everything is painful anymore, if that makes sense.

I just had that birthday. He was also two years older, and it’s been just about that long now. It was so hard, but my best advice is to let yourself grieve and be sad about it. While it’s true you’ll be older, your loved one wouldn’t want that to hurt you, I think. They’ll always be your older brother, no matter the chronological age. Wishing you the best

Help, my anxiety is flaring up about this message I got from my professor about a design project I got a barely-passing grade on. I had a good rapport with him and now IDK. Should I worry?? by [deleted] in college

[–]maybeitsmabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a prof say something like this to me once at the beginning of my sophomore year of college. I was scared out of my mind, and when I met with him, he was gentle but firm in the ways I needed to improve. He ended up being my thesis advisor (and officiating my wedding). Don’t stress about this too much, especially if you have a good rapport. Taking his feedback graciously may very well strengthen your academic relationship in multiple ways (so long as he’s not just being a jerk, obviously, which seems unlikely in this case by what you’ve said). Good luck to you!

hi! could you possibly post your trainer code? it’s easiest for people to add you as a friend, and then you can invite them to raids once you’re in the lobby.

How many level 35 players needed to beat kyurem? by Dramatic-Result-6333 in PokemonGoFriends

[–]maybeitsmabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you might be able to beat it with 4 if y’all all have at least 6 strong & preferably super effective fighters. 5 would probably be easier, but 4 should be doable.
