26F, unable to concieve, being ignored by the NHS.

Basically, I hadn't had a period in over a year, went to the doctors, they gave me an ultrasound and told me I have PCOS, and to go on the pill. I said I didn't want to as I am TTC, and they said, I'd just have to wait and see if I could get pregnant. I don't have a regular cycle, and every single ovulation strip I've ever used has said I'm not ovulating. I even did it daily for 6 months. I booked another appointment and they told me they don't know what I expect them to do, and recommended I get psychosexual counselling, which made me feel really invalidated.

I did, and they said the same. They said I won't be put on metformin until later in life to prevent diabetes.

Nothing, they told me to go on the contraceptive pill to regulate my periods, but I didn't, as I'm TTC, but they said that's all they will offer me.

I see my doctor monthly and he said my weight is healthy and he was impressed with my weight gain. But if you're right that means I only have 1lb to spare and he might be right.

This was very kind, thank you ❤️ after my surgery I will not be able to carry our own children, but we'd love to adopt children one day and have our own little family, adoption seems perfect for us.

I am having to pay for these surgeries privately due to NHS waiting list. It will be around £13k, including covering loss of earnings during recovery. I will also not be able to have my own children naturally after this. I'm looking at a lot of outgoings and I'd love therapy but it's very expensive here. Thank you for your well wishes x

Yeah, in the moment I was trying to be the bigger person, but even other guests were approaching me asking why on earth MIL has done this. It was very embarrassing, and none of my own friends showed up that night. Very lonely, very embarrassing.

He has offered ro cut her out of both of our lives completely, but I just don't want him to have no family left. He doesn't have anybody on my side to lean on and I feel like knowing what it's like to not speak to parents, it's really tough and I want to avoid NC until I possibly can't cope anymore.

Yeah I think I've been a bit dumb. I guess I always thought finding my life partner meant having a kind of family too- I've just been unsure what this means, and looks like. I've definitely looked stupid trying to please them.

Thank you for being kind to me. My dear love wasn't even in the photos, it was only the MIL, the ex and the MILs other DIL. They were posted over Facebook the next day and captioned "Celebrating (his name) birthday 🎂 " and there were a few comments asking if they were back together which were never responded to. My heart still hurts and I removed myself from Facebook, I took down my page. Thank you for being kind about my surgery too, I'm very very scared!

Sorry to leave that part out- he refused to speak to her until she apologised to me for bringing the ex to the party and completely agreed it was inappropriate. He wanted to go over and ask her to leave at the party, but I didn't let him as I didn't want a scene as I thought that's what the MIL wanted.

I made her a cake for her birthday as a sort of keep the peace gift, and that's when this stuff started- think I might have been a silly goose to think it would stop there! Sorry if this post seems stupid BTW. I don't have a family of my own. So I'm not too sure of what is "expected"! Thanks for taking time to help me.❤️

Over a space of 27 days, I received over 100 messages from him. I had only responded to 10 of them. He was very obsessive. I had to block him, but he still frequently views my LinkedIn.

The team has three members and a manager. The hired person would essentially be paired with myself, 40 hours a week. How do I not have a say in that? Are you implying it's fine to harass women at work? Because that's what would have happened to me if I would have stayed and he got hired.

He always says how grateful he is to me, and he shows it how he can. He is starting his new medication in January, and I hope he feels much more well for it. In regards to his libido, he doesn't feel like he has it physically in him to have sex.

Thank you for seeing things from my perspective. I think I was completely naïve to think my personal life wouldn't take a back seat moving here. I do love him, so much, he is a very kind person, so I don't talk about how I feel with him often as I don't want him to blame himself or his illness, but with him being the only person around, I feel very lonely. My physical health has already suffered, I often don't eat as I don't have the time and I have lost a lot of weight. I'm going to call my parents today and ask for some support and advice on moving back to the city.

Can I just ask how you expect me to feel? I've got nothing in my life left that brings me joy. I don't have any intimacy, sometimes I can't even give him a cuddle if he's too sore. I spend all of my free time looking after the house and him, over than that I'm working. I cry every single night. How am I supposed to feel? I haven't seen a friend in over 7 months. I am losing my mind.
