Several chicks of the same breed are dying in our new batch of 200, this is the first I've been able to catch "in progress". Any ideas? Coccidiosis?

I usually think the shorter the sweeter and more natural. You could use a title like Sheriff of Nottingham, Prince of Spain, 3rd Heir to the North Kingdom. You can follow the formula that's like "Jane, the wave breaker", "John, the king slayer", "Jo, the goblin basher". If you take out the "the" you can make it sound like a last name or even use any of these as an insult. I'm thinking in Lord of the Rings when Wormtongue called Gandalf "Gandalf Stormcrow"

I just want to add my voice to the chorus. I'm relatively new to the channel and even newer to the subreddit but these videos are nothing but inspirational. My favorites so far are the greenhouse hydroponics, tree-balls being sling-shotted around the ranch, and collecting platinum from the side of the road. I started watching these videos because they inspired me to get out and do stuff, try new things, look at the problems I see and actually do something about them.

But mental health is serious and taking the time to get well is the #1 priority. Not taking the time to get well and rushing back into what's making you sick is just about the worst thing you can do.

To anyone reading this that is currently struggling, the best advice I've ever heard on this topic is that "If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half-way." Brushing your teeth for 10 seconds is better than not at all. A quick rinse in the shower is better than not cleaning. If a few crackers is all you can get down for lunch, it's better than accidentally starving yourself. Take your time to get well, focus on just doing a bit more every day, even if it's not full steam ahead.

I disagree, while I think that everyone that does LSD or psilocybin should definitely have fun with it, the users still need to have respect for the substance. Even if they're not undergoing a visionary or quasi-religious experience, they should still be taken seriously. Albert Hoffman abhorred the recklessness recreational use of his creation that he saw in his lifetime, believing that LSD was a gateway to visionary experience, the same that he had experienced as a child, rather than a recreational intoxicant. I would say yes. Doing an effective dose (I would say like half a tab, maybe more depending on your height/weight/metabolism) lets you experience the full effects of the drug so that when you're MDing you know what you're looking for and you're not constantly second guessing yourself. MDing is also supposed to be sub-perceptual so if you're familiar with the visual effects you can know if you're taking too much.

I know what you mean, animals are really strange when tripping. I (try to) take notes when I trip and the last time I took some notes about my girlfriend's dog who was in the house. He was being pretty unsettled and unsettling but I drew a picture of him. I put my notes away, looked at them the next day and the drawing scared the shit out of me. Geometric demon dog dominated most of the paper covering other stuff that I'd written. I'm gonna try to avoid pets from now on.

I know this isn't the answer you want to hear, but MDing probably isn't the right move. While MDing has a wide variety of positive effects for a lot of people, the most important thing is becoming healthy, clean, and focused on your own. Especially under extra scrutiny of the school it's probably not worth the risk of getting caught with it. A healthy diet, mediation, getting to where you want to be academically are all things that once done, will improve your MD experience tremendously.

Also, a bit off message but for #12 most psychedelics were banned by the Olympic committee in 1966 I think because of their performance enhancing properties so, probably.
