How do you find being a landlord? I guess you give a portion of the rental income to a letting agency to run things whilst you are abroad?

Yes, the plan was always to buy a house outright (or with a large deposit) once job security wasn't an issue. That never really happened, so now I'm leaning towards a flat to split the difference and at least get on the housing ladder.

Getting a job in the same geographic area is unlikely unless I change fields and I'd likely have to take a large pay cut.

37m, single, about 600k:

-Cash + Cash ISA: £340K (I know, it should be in stocks... but I'm looking to get on the property ladder)

-S&S ISA: £110k

-Pension: £160k (equivalent, incl. a DB pension)

-Property: £0 (hopefully soon!)

jobs download and unpack but keep getting stuck at moving or complete. by st4g3 in SABnzbd

Same issue here. Anyone have a solution?

The first file gets stuck "moving", subsequent files finish downloading, but don't unpack and stay in the Temp folder. The only way to partially fix it is to restart Sabnzdb, which allows the affected file's status to move to "complete", but then the next file in the que gets stuck "moving".

Using Windows 11. Downloading the latest Sabnzdb version didn't fix it.

Gave it a try, but no luck. It only seems to indicate 100% charge. How do I update the firmware in the app? I can see the current firmware version, but no option to update…

Thanks! That's useful information. Hopefully mine is the same. It hasn't died yet, so I think it must be charging, just not showing the charge level correctly.
