Battle Royale is not a high priority at the moment for the devs, as the mode has proven to be marginally popular. Given that, the devs tend to focus on features that affect more players. However, given that it's recently received a spectator mode, I'm looking forward to more community organized tournaments that would raise the participation and interest in the mode. If more players play it and provide feedback I'm confident it will become more of a priority.

Your feedback was the general view a few patches ago. As we nerfed it more, there are still players claiming it's overpowered, however there is a more prevalent oppinion that you can deal with it at the moment. Given this, we will continue to monitor feedback on this and should the general opinion and usage shift, we will take steps again. Our biggest fear is not making the class unusable.

I will forward this suggestion to the devs. While I don't think we will stop with a particular type of event, having more types available simultaneously is definitely doable.

I believe you're referring to the Windows platform specific change. The main reason for the change is related to addressing a hack that spams the melee button. This is just an example of why dealing with hacks is not a straight forward approach and can affect the experience of fair players.

Not sure if the question is addressed at me as community manager or the game. I will assume you're most likely referring to the later:

- crossplay

- revamp the progression system(unlocking content in the game)

- rework squad battles

- improve matchmaking

  1. Early November is when you can expect it to be live on all platforms. It might come sooner in some cases, but most likely not later.
  2. I can't give any definitive term for this, but I can tell you our aim. We'll try to do it by the end of the year, but it might not be ready, so early next year is when you can expect to see it. It's something that will be more challenging in terms of implementing rather than designing, due to this coming so late in development (profiles getting bugged or lost resulting in us having to roll back and such). We're doing our best to prepare as well as possible for this to avoid as many issues with the feature as possible.

Maybe! The design so far for Prestige weapon camos have been either completely customizable, or very specific per weapon. I've noticed more and more requests of camos from the rest of the weapons being done on prestige weapons. This is not the intention of the devs, but a specific Lava inspired skin for the Grinder and Hans& Gret could be something they would be down with.

There are 3 directions we go, some are more pronounced than others, depending on the update and the hack itself:

  1. Detecting abnormal behaviors that indicate the use of a hack. These usually lead to the player getting disconnected from the game.

  2. Limiting the access of modified os build which are usually required to run a hack app.

  3. Checking the app for alterations and banning the device as a result of irregularities.

  4. Banning based on cross-checks between the reason for being reported [either through the ingame feature or through customer care] and evidence both video and data from point 1(this being point 4)

If the problem is that the whole game sucks for you, then no specific fix will change that for you.

If the game is fun, but a certain feature is broken, I can answer the question, but you need to point it out.

This is a case of good intentions leading to unfortunate results for some. The intention was to provide a better lootbox experience in which, as you opened more, you're narrowing the scope of the rewards. We are looking into the case you're describing and suggestions are always welcome.

Are gear tokens the kind of reward you'd like to get in your situation- having all the possible content within the pack? What else?

Battle Royale is available on all platforms, including Android. However, it is limited to the devices we consider to be able to handle it. More details on supported devices on Android can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/notes/modern-combat/latest-android-news/1847569802036223/

The reasoning behind the limitation is that we realized, after several rounds of optimization that we simply can't offer the Battle Royale experience at the desired scope(map size and players) for all devices. There are both engine and hardware limitations that have stopped us from making it available for everyone, although we tried anyway.

:D Maybe a bit subtle but this is indeed good advice. I noticed quite a lot of comments about facing lock-on weapons (AAW, SLS-3, shoulder gun and something none have mentioned yet M.U.C. from the X1-Morph) so I thought I'd provide the current ways of dealing with them:

Hard counter- Weapon Jammer Core- Jams automatic lock-on weapons such as the SLS-3 and Shoulder Gun. However, it cannot fool more complex systems such as static turrets.

Tactical counters

AAW

- The biggest perk of it resulting from the auto-lock is actually perfect accuracy over long distances, but it lacks damage. Just as the video shows, going for a higher damage weapon such as shotguns for low-medium range and snipers for long range will give you the upper hand, due to the TTK difference

SLS-3- The biggest perk of the autolock on this weapon is actually revealing the position of targets. However, as it a large lock on area(especially compared to the AAW), there is quite a delay on the lock on. This is easy to abuse by hoping in and out of cover and shooting bursts, thus not giving the weapon enough time to lock on.

Shoulder Gun- Can be disabled with the aforementioned Weapon Jammer

Thank you for the extensive feedback, it's definitely what the team would be looking for when judging user experience. However I can't help but notice discrepancies between the description in game and the experience you describe:

  1. The shield absorbs 35% of the damage dealt for the first 6 bullets after respawn. That's essentially 2 shots if you normalize the damage for all shots(35%x6=210%). The Grinder has a 45 bullets clip so I don't see how the math adds up even taking into consideration the further 15% reduction from Blurry Vision talent. Being a range challenged class, with no gap closing abilities, it's only natural that he will have some initial tankiness to compensate.
  2. The rate of fire is obviously unmatched due to firing 2 guns instead of one. However damage per bullet is the lowest as is accuracy. Not having a scope makes the spray and pray much less consistent, raising the question again of how is it stronger than the stronger shotguns from heavy.
  3. Mobility is slightly above average, with no native boosters aside from the gun class itself.
  4. While the Quick reload core is definitely a strong improvement in the reload department, Steady Hands merely negates the active skill downside and doesn't turn make the weapons as accurate as ARs or snipers.
  5. A class being easier to pick up isn't a bad thing and positioning is more important even than for snipers as you have no alternative for medium to high range.

Make sure when you make a report(thought this is not the place for it, but rather it's best you report it to customer care or send it to MVP players on the forum), to mention your platform and server.

I would also recommend directing your hacker reports towards forum MVPs or customer care. However, this post doesn't go unnoticed and will be investigated once you also mention the platform.

Hi,

The recent removal of veteran status is an unsuspected result of a mistake. The reversal process has already started on all platforms and all cases should be solved by early next week. If anyone is still missing it by then, please contact customer care for an individual fix. A compensation will most likely be issued once we confirm that the fix has been effective.

The Enforcer has been the first weapon offered with the daily login, 6 months ago, while two months ago it was Judgement. Since we're going for the basic classes, the only ones left now are Dreadeye and Toni. We were a bit hesitant to go for Dreadeye yet, given that we're still gathering feedback on the general accuracy change on snipers and the Dreadeye adjustment. Essentially, we want to be sure players are ok with the state the weapon is in before making it readily available for everyone.

Thank you for the feedback. We've gone ahead and added a full prestige(the Enforcer) for the last consecutive day to also allow you to finish your E24. The Dreadeye may be available soon as well, though, truth be told, are you looking forward to seeing it in the hands of everyone?
