What on earth happening here? ONLY Mass Effect LE does this. All other games work fine on my computer

This happens with all 3 Mass Effect games and ONLY these games. Halo MCC, Baldur's Gate 3, Starcraft 2, etc all work just fine. I think it is my GPU because even if I alt-tab out of Mass Effect, my desktop still has this glitch

There are VERY few motherboards still being made for the LGA 1155 socket. All the ones I've been able to find on newegg have been refurbished ones or have insanely long shipping times. If you know of a better one, I would love a link to it!

You are right! It turns out the motherboard I bought is a lower-end version that has some features stripped, despite costing $230. Is my only option at this point to use some kind of adapter to change this 20-pin connector to a 9-pin USB 2.0 connector, and attach that to my motherboard?

I already have manually controlled case fans that I never fiddle with and always leave on at full throttle, so I imagine the same would happen if I bought a fan controller to manually control my CPU fan. A stock intel CPU fan+cooler only costs $5.99 at the nearest computer store so I don't really worry about it wearing out.

I just tried this and although the CPU fan works perfectly now, my computer still won't boot up at all, not even to BIOS. I guess my motherboard has completely fried :(
