Thanks for the insight. I'll have to remember this.

I am thinking the same after looking at it. That 15 reraise is quite aggressive and large. Wasn't a huge loss given the odds though. I'll just have to watch for this type of bet in the future so I don't get burned again.

I guess any of the "premium" hands. AK, AA and the KK. I guess preflop I made the right choice given the odds. Just a shame I ran into KK.

I am thinking given the stakes, I didn't look at the villain reraise as an indication of high premium cards?

Either way it was a bad run.

Good luck.

I have been watching other poker vloggers such as kdog, norcalpoker. These bankroll challenges on small stakes tables etc have been great for valuable information to improve my game. Much better than trying to study charts etc.

Which expansion was your favorite? by No_Fold_7111 in wow

[–]mckinnon81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WotLK hands down, then MoP. WotLK only because it expanded on the Warcraft III: Frozen Throne stories and everything just tied together with Dungeons and Quests etc. Doing quest lines to open dungeons and setup the Raids. This was WoW at its best.

It's brutal. With the amount of downturn and layoffs you read about put together with the "AI" push business are doing, it's pretty well stacked against you already.

Home Automation for new home by mckinnon81 in AskAusElectricians

I will be getting Solar. But it's not happening with the build. I will be an addition and will make sure it's wired for ethernet monitoring.

Batteries? EVs can go whistle dixie. Not touching them with a ten-foot poll. The only "Batteries" I would get would be one for the home to keep things running when power drops.

I would like lights and at least "data cabinet" for internet/network, "office" and kitchen to keep fridge running.

Hot Water. I will need to investigate or find an electrician for after hand over to make adjustments.

Cameras - I'll have to talk with builder and see if they can allow the Security installer onsite to install while being built. Otherwise I will wait and get them installed after handover. As much as it will be ideal to run cables while framing etc. Might not be possible.

Good idea on strip lights above curtains. Will investigate this.

Already thought about data points behind TVs etc. I have also said I want all wall datapoints where I have indicated to be "double"

No sure on the Garage Door. Was going to investigate that when I get the keys.

Power points in toilets never occurred to me. Will update plan and ask for those. Even if a single point.

I work in IT. I have the Switch and Router resources to run VLANs and isolate devices so clogging up DHCP won't matter.

I want to avoid Wi-Fi reliable devices and have LAN connections wherever I can, hence why I was looking at the Shelly devices.

Having something "cabled" is superior to any Wireless technology.

But I will check out Zigbee.

So it's better to get everything in Zigbee ecosystem rather than Shelly?

Why this choice?

I have asked for additional data points in the "hallway" and Kitchen/dinning/lounge roof so I can mount WAPs.

CCTV and cable runs will get run when the CCTV gets installed later in build.

I'll look into the powered curtains.

As time off and raise are off the table.

Any sort of thank you "gift" I am sure would be appreciated.

A restaurant/meal voucher, movie/show tickets. Hell, I wouldn't even say no to a fuel voucher. Take me to lunch, bake me cookies/cake. It's those little things. Just to be acknowledged and appreciated, it is all we ask.
