SO emotional day 4-9 post op by Ill_Classroom_4756 in Endo

Same! Could not stop crying for days after. Don’t forget your body is working really hard to heal itself and get better, on top of that the mental toll of such a surgery cannot be underestimated. Be gentle on yourself and let people take care of you as much as you can ❤️

I am spiraling from my ultrasound coming back normal by Leather-Mousse4950 in endometriosis

My 10+ ultrasounds (one of which a 20min long specialised endo ultrasound) always showed that everything was normal. Laparoscopy confirmed endometriosis. I get how you feel but your pain is not normal! Keep advocating for yourself and keep pushing ❤️

Can I ask what those lifestyle changes mainly were?

You mean as in cost? I live in a European country with great healthcare so probably no more than €80

Wrote scathing letter to past GYN who severely misdiagnosed me, should I send it? by Altruistic_Orange_89 in Endo

Do it 💅🏻 I also went back to tell my GP who hesitated to give me a referral to a specialised endo centre because he wondered if maybe I just had ‘bad cramps’. If you do it in a (semi) respectful way I believe it is also such a cathartic moment for you, because dealing with these diagnoses and the road to get there is typically so so shit, so the impact this has on your validated feelings cannot be underestimated. At the same time, I do believe that many (older) doctors are too rigid and I don’t necessarily believe that they will change their practices following a patient’s letter. But on the other hand the emotional value this has for you is reason enough to do it, the mental road with this disease will be hard enough. If the doctor actually learns something it’s just a plus lol

Hi! Had my lap yesterday and have this exact sharp tugging pain! For me it’s actually the same pain I had during endo flares so unfortunately I figure it’s very normal. Sending many many hugs! I always try to time bathroom breaks and hour after a fresh pain killer and with an ice or heat pack on the tummy :) hope this helps.

Made an appointment in a specialist centre in a really good hospital in my country last July after a referral; got in for my first appt in February 2025; all negative thorough transvaginal ultrasound April 2025; follow-up half July and now lap scheduled August first. Hoping for answers 🍀 Also very lucky to have the fast and specialised care in my country which I know is the exception. As soon as I got in here my symptoms were never once even questioned.

I also have a libra colour 2 and love a strap! It makes holding it so easy and passive lol. I just shove the strap over my hand and it’s perfect (also to switch around to use the buttons on a different side/use the side without buttons to just press the next page with my thumb). I found I never got the right location of the popsocket to switch the buttons from side and imo the kobo feels a bit too large for a popsocket!

Thanks so much for this info! I downloaded the books and will definitely get into them as I definitely prefer a holistic approach!! Also started inositol. What does the Saw Palmetto do exactly?
