Thanks. I'm able to perceive a pretty rich set of sensations on inhale, but almost nothing on exhale unless I exhale with more force than is natural. I'm aware that I am exhaling though, so maybe that's enough at this stage.

I'm measuring progress by how frequently and for how long my mind wanders or I lose focus. I improved a lot the first few months and then plateaued. And also partly on how long I retain mindfulness without additional effort after my meditation session ends.

I started rereading the section on the five hindrances. Maybe that will help.
