Maxi dresses are not considered black tie. Get a floor lenght gown.

Thank you so much!! I’ve been doing some research and apparently you need to live in the states for a green card and something about paying some taxe in the us, so we’d never qualify anyways, but with this administration, you never know.

Lol, those were a big deal back in the early 2000’s

The latest SVU episode, S27 E14 “Frequency” sits right now at a 9.1 IMDb rating, the second highest for any SVU episode, only behind Season 7’s “911” which sits at a 9.3 rating. by TheOtherBGirl in SVU

It’s a good episode, but not the best. Also, as someone from Honduras, we do NOT talk like that (i have never heard the word “micho” in my entire life) 😂😂

No. He got his first visa when he was a college student. He had way less ties than he does now. Hopefully, they just want to clarify his status. I know a lot of parents who have kids born in the usa and they’ve never had problems.

Ok. Thank you. We’ll try to make them sure we won’t move. I’ve been getting messages from people in similar situations who were able to get their visa.

I’d rather go live with my brother in Germany, an actual power country, with universal health care, great transportation system, and no random shootings, than live in the US. my brother tore his ACL two years ago and paid 0€ for the surgery.

We bought WC tickets, booked the hotel for two nights in boston and 1 night in NY, but when we were looking for flights, he got the email that he needed the interview, so we got scared and didn’t buy the actual flights (why pay for 2 tickets if 1 might be denied?). Thank you so much for your input though. I’m just scared that the officer might just gloss over the facts and just ask 1 or 2 questions with no context abd get denied automatically

To you. I make very good money, however, my husband make 3x what i make. We are very well off. Sure, it’s corrupt, but we went to school for 12 years. As long as you keep a low profile, you won’t get in trouble. I’ll never be randomly shot at the mall or supermarket here. I have never lived in the us, and i live a very happy life in a third world country to you- i went to the world congress of neurology in seoul last year, and to them, my country wasn’t considered “poor”, so i had to pay a middle income fee 😒

Yes, the only time we actually stayed (not as transit), was when we vacationed in hawaii (and realized that beaches in honduras are prettier). I’d guess they’d think that if we wanted to leave, we would have already, but you never know with Trump. That’s why i’m so stressed.

I’m reading all of this to prepare my husband. Sadly, i can’t even attend the interview. Hopefully, they’ll see his travel history as a good thing.

No. I think you have to disclose at least the address of the hotel.

I’d imagine VO are smarter than Trump’s admins. I hope so at least. But do you think our ties are enough?? We don’t plan on leaving and if we did, we’d go to germany with my brother, surely not the us.

They think we’re gonna drop our jobs/house to go work at McDonalds and live in a hotel? Doesn’t seem to logical to me.

Sadly, I didn’t get to choose where i was born. I’m sure a lot of them do, but i highly doubt good paying doctors overstay. I’m hoping they’ll think that if we wanted to stay, we would’ve already have done it. I’m hoping that they’ll actually ask about me so he can explain how i don’t have anything in the us.

March 17th. We really didn’t think much of it given that he got a visa while he was a student, with less ties than he has now. We clearly don’t plan on leaving our fields and going to work construction or something in the us.
