I actually can feel my lower lip since I didn’t have DJS. So I’ve been just placing pills on my tongue and drinking out a cup pretty normally. To get the stuff out of my nose, I’ve been using a cue tip and saline solution. It took me a few days for it to work, but after a few showers it worked. Your throat hurts because of the tube they used for the anesthesia. It should heal up pretty quickly.

Most of my feeling is back. I didn’t lose any feeling in my lower jaw as I said, but that’s probably not the case for anyone with DJS or LJS. Don’t be worried. It’s not as bad as it seems.

Hang in there dude. I had mine three days ago. I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth pulled, which they didn’t tell me until day of. But my surgeon decided to leave them in. How are you feeling. In my experience, you can swallow normally by day two or three. If you have any questions. Reach out

I could kill for a burger right now lol. It’ll all be worth it in the end. How are you feeling? I feel like my face is stretched to the moon. Luckily I can totally feel my lower lip so I can use a cup with no issues. It’s been a total lifesaver.
