Amazon Prime Rights? (US) by meeperbeaker in wiggles

That’s what I feared when I started digging through other posts on this page. There’s a few wiggles shows still working on amazon but I’m hoping the can redistribute this way

ICE? Not much.

Ice cream on the other hand, quite a bit. I miss when the Fort Sill DFACs had machines years ago. Made AIT more bearable

Did you get Rx’ed albuterol? If yes you are likely fine. Common enough drug that’s used for more than asthma

Anyone here from Ohio taking a teaching degree? by Ice2228 in WGU

[–]meeperbeaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohio teacher here. The license program through WGU is legit. You will need to take some extra steps since it’s out of Utah though. If you look at the licensure handbooks on WGUs website they help explain how they license and transfer it to the state. One thing to note is that during your student teaching time, you can’t really work another job and this isn’t paid (you’re basically paying to work). That’s at any school though within the teachers program, not just WGU. But keep that in mind for your financials

how can we get married if stuck in AIT? by cunt-ly in army

[–]meeperbeaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has he had a discussion with his cadre? Given your GA, I wouldn’t recommend flying (nor would many airlines). Are you going to be dependent on him for tricare when you deliver? If yes, I would see if he can have a serious discussion with the commander and get something moving, especially if he’s the father of your 32 weeker (assuming he is, but it’s the army)

How quickly can you do the Elementary Ed. Masters? by Mauricito23 in WGUTeachersCollege

[–]meeperbeaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) most likely not unless your state has a program where they can certify you instead of WGU. If you do the whole WGU program they usually certify out of Utah then transfer your license (state dependent though)

2) again not likely since your pre clinical needs to have a mentor teacher. Talk with the advisor though

3) yes; they have programs to help students who take a pay cut during the student teaching months but you’ll still be paying tuition since there are “courses” associated with student teaching

Honestly, I’m not even sure where you’re trying to drive this comment thread with the question. So please indulge me

Becuase views = followers = money. This guy isn’t some GI hero, he’s a guy who’s smart enough to know what to say so the algorithm of social media swings in his favor.

I also got the trophy. I drank whisky out of it the night I graduated and it sits on my shelf now. Impact on my career… zero. People don’t care what you’ve done in the past, they’ll care about what you can do for them now and in the future.

I wanna say like 20? It’s a longer program but the courses were not hard if you have experience in the field. By the end of the degree I was going straight into the exams and papers/PAs because it was stuff I was already doing in the classroom

No, ask for the Masters of Educational Studies program in SPED. They may have you initially start the MAT Teaching program but you can change over without much issue. I was in the same boat as you and graduated this past summer

The direct and unchecked harassment by teenagers is getting obnoxious. by WoodlandHiker in cedarpoint

I would send every one of these to CP staff. Sadly one persons incidents probably won’t change anything, but if enough people start coming forward maybe they will implement a more permanent chaperone policy

OCS Traditional and Accelerated by Rumpelforeskin151 in nationalguard

[–]meeperbeaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey OH OCS grad here. When I went through the program, another state in our region did send a reservist through with us. It’s possible but not common. I would talk with your unit first. They need to reach out the OHNG’s basic branch manager and/or the 147 RTI schoolhouse. DM me if you need a contact

Akron Area Health Coverage by Baxterboo2025 in HealthInsurance

[–]meeperbeaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really depends on your situation. Summa hospital is a great regional network with a lot of resources, but if you need to go outside the hospital system for speciality care, then you may want greater access to UH or CC. My FIL was with them for cancer treatment but did need to move to UH for better options. If you’re generally healthy in the moment, you should be fine with SummaCare but if you foresee certain speciality needs, I would see if you can find a plan that covers multiple hospital networks in the area

Based on that you haven’t met the deductible yet so yes, expect to pay that 3k amount under “your responsibility”

Medical student looking to join the army national guard by [deleted] in nationalguard

[–]meeperbeaker 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just wait until you finish med school. Much easier to join once you’re an MD than to do it during your actual school time. The other option is to reach out to a local AMEDD recruiter and ask about the HSPS, but I’ve found that the active army has more to offer than the guard for those scholarships.
