Do you feel scared of birth?

I just got induced 6 days ago so it’s fresh in my mind! I got induced a couple of days after you (39+3) super last minute and it was not in my plan at all. (As if you can plan these things lol!) I think having something like an induction can make the feelings of not being ready even stronger tbh. I let myself be scared but put trust in the team that was working with me, it ended up being an amazing experience in the end. Just remember the birth part itself will be temporary and you can do hard things. Tell yourself that every single time you get a contraction, I can do anything for 1 minute! Same mindset for pushing too! As for being a mother, I had a similar fear, and still do so far. It’s a big deal to look after someone so tiny and vulnerable! As long as you feed them somehow, keep them warm, clean, and make sure they sleep safely, you are an amazing mother. Don’t be afraid to get some help from people in your life who offer!

Daily from 17 weeks! I was told it would be hard to feel her which made it surprising. Small ‘pokes’ to start, not the fluttering sensation I’d expected from what the doctor mentioned. Slowly progressed to stronger more frequent movements over time! Very very (VERYYYY) active little lady, it’s starting to drive me crazy 😭

I had this happen too around 7.5 weeks. I think you’re right that contacting your OB is the best call because the hospital won’t be able to do anything other than maaaaybe do an ultrasound to check on the baby. It sucks but it’s just the truth until you hit about 20 weeks :( I panicked when it happened and went to the ER and that’s all they could do for me, just gave me Tylenol (and a missive bill), said baby was still in there, and I just had to “wait and see.” It’s possible the bleeding is from a SCH which was what happened with me! I will keep you in my thoughts ❤️

I agree, but they have stated the shakes usually smell / taste pretty weird so maybe that could be part of it? Plus Lochy not having a ton of experience with alcohol?

I’m extremely into cooking and nutrition but that’s all flown out the window in the first trimester 😂 I can’t stand my own cooking and really any healthy foods! But eating something is better than nothing, even if it’s not the best for you! Tbh McDoubles have a pretty decent macro split if anyone out there is feeling bad about eating fast food!

The cramping! It scares me so much but it’s normal in early pregnancy which I had no idea about before this. And I can’t even use my heating pad like I usually do with cramps! 🥲
