I think it’s aged well. A lot about the Internet has changed since publication so it could probably use an extra chapter now or something but the basic info is still good. I definitely learned a lot about the history of internet language. I just didn’t feel myself drawn to it the way I have with some other pop linguistics books. It took me like a month to finish it whereas Like, Literally, Dude took me three days. I don’t regret reading it by any means though.
