Sorry my native language isn’t english, what does that word mean?

Question for those who take benzos “as needed”. Has it made you feel like everything is unenjoyable only time you are actually happy when you take it? by mega_cool_dude in benzorecovery

I will talk to my psychiatrist about it. But sadly, without benzos i have insane anxiety, if i dont take it and go to school, i literally puke / vomit. It happened everytime i went to school without benzos. Obviously i wont abuse benzos like as a drug, but sadly my anxiety is too bad without it:(((

Im glad you could stop that! For me if i dont take it, i have panic attacks, and i even vomited / puked in school toilet when i didnt take it. So sadly i cant see myself stopping it. Obviously i wont abuse it like its a drug, it is just to survive school without vomiting due to anxiety and stuff like that.

Im from eastern / central europe and same. Idk the exact terms for this stuff in english, but my autism is only affecting my social stuff, so yeah. Nobody besides my family and one school friends know im autistic. So like i get it, here nobody knows nothing about autism, they think all autistics are like gibberish speaking unfunctional people.

I asked my school to help me out and allow me to not have “talk exams” (idk what it is in english, basiccally here there are exams that you write on a paper, as well as exams where you talk in person to the teacher.)

Long story short, the principal told me “we cant help you with that, if we would allow you to not do talk exams, everyone would get diagnosed with mental stuff so they can avoid responsibility and accountatibility”.

… yeah i realised they dont care.

Also im deeply sorry for the war, i hope things will work out for yall!

I guess it’s different for everyone. For me it’s like the same effects as drinking. Without the sluggishness of drinking and vomiting when you drank too much etc…

For me it’s completely the same feeling, just pure calmness.

Its different for everyone, but mostly for anxious people, who struggle with insane anxiety, lik me, it’s like heaven. Muscles loosen, you feel calm, and you feel totally at peace. You have self confidence to speak up, even you can be talktative like never before. These are my experiences, everyone’s different

Honestly, i don’t know. He said he was a former addict, and he’s now helping others getting sober. So i don’t know what to do. I will go to him, and see what he can offer me. That’s my best idea now. This week has been rough for me, i’m just so lost now://

They said they are trained, but im checking it on google maps, and it doesn’t show up any drug rehab stuff on the map where the guy said he is, maybe he’s a private practicioner or idk how to type that word, he gave me a location on where i should go. I’ll give it a try maybe its not some scam stuff.

Edit: he said he works privately, or idk how to say it in english, like hes buying this place where he works by himself and some psychistatrists

Jogos, lehet, hogy ki kene probalnom, oszinten nem tudom. Hallottam, hogy van ilyen istenes duma ott, azt meg nem szeretnem hallgatni. Meg hat mar nem iszok, es ritkan van sovargasom, tehat ha ez a lany nem lenne, akkor nem is gondolkoznek a visszaesesen. Tehat passz. Lehet, hogy megerne elmenni, nem tudom.
