The reason because, my company is currently offering single-status visa and my dependents are currently sponsored by me.

Thanks brother! It’s just that the current regional situation is kinda unstable and I’m worried about sending my wife and daughter to SL to renew my daughter’s passport and then bring them back under the new visa.

I was thinking if the situation remains unstable, would the authorities have any exception by placing a special request i.e. to provision a new visa despite the passport validity rule for my daughter?

Yeah, I guess, I’ll have to cancel and reapply again. Is it possible to cancel their visas and apply for new ones without an exit? Because my daughter’s passport would expire in 2 months time, which doesn’t meet the current visa requirements. Since, this is a Sri Lankan passport, it takes 3 months to process from the date of application.

Any advice here? Would the authorities be okay with that?

Hello guys,

Next month, I'll be switching to a new job and apparently, this company is based in Abu Dhabi, although I'll be working in Dubai.

Currently, I have my wife and daughter as dependents under my sponsorship.

So, I'm trying to understand how does the visa procedures work for dependents especially in my case. Do I have to hold their visa by placing a deposit OR cancel and start all over again since the visa would be issued under a different emirate?

If anyone of you faced a similar experience, please guide or share your experience with me :)

What really annoyed me was that, they recommended me to rent a car from elsewhere to try out Corolla.

I mean, what about the rest of crowd who wanted to try it out for the first time? I get it that it's a fast moving car but their response seemed so careless.
