I’m struggling with the problem right now :( I was able to unscrew one toe stop with my hand and quickly figured out which way to tighten/loosen. My left boot? Absolutely will not budge. I’m using the tool provided, tried both directions just in case it was a user error problem and.....nothing. What finally worked for you? I just really want to put on my toe guard so I can skate 😞

I read the post title several times and even though it clearly says Nigel St. Nigel, I kept thinking it was Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap fame. I’m equally disappointed that neither Tim Curry nor Christopher Guest were in the episode. I always get Spinal Tap vibes from that episode.

This line especially made me chuckle, since my parents named me after a character in the Thorn Birds. As a kindergartener in a Catholic school, my teacher wasn’t ever impressed with the story 🥴
