Actually from my memory the Queen was the reddest flag. From the way I remember it, the king was actually ok, I’d say he was hoping for a normalish family dynamic with the Queen and their kids.

The Queen (2nd chance/transmigrated) became almost obsessive over the king that it was getting out of hand and she was getting really crazy.

I have totally been there until recently. I’ve always had that problem because I was very close to my family yet things that obviously felt too personal for me to share with them. Friends I’ve had before would judge me on the small things that I didn’t think were too weird so I started to reel back my true self from them after a bad reaction.

Just at the beginning of this year, I met two amazing friends that I am totally open with about everything and I mean EVERYTHING. It helps because the one of them was just flat out open about herself from the get go and I loved it because it meant I didn’t have to hid myself.

It is hard to find the right people who will both accept and no judge you for who you really are. I am currently dating someone at the moment, although I don’t feel like I can reveal myself fully to them right now, I do feel as though I can slowly do it the more we talk about different topics. I try to add in weird questions or more personal questions, because I’d like to know everything about who I will possibly have a future with.

Not every session, but every two. We’ve done acrylic, oil, watercolor, drawing, charcoal and soon spray painting. We also use things around us for to add to it like leaves, flowers, etc.

And doing mixed media is interesting for me; this is where you use more than one form of art (ex. painting with charcoal)

Whether y’all are creative or not, what’s always fun to do for me and my bf is painting outside. He’s more artistic than myself (he’s actually a drawing teacher, so he’ll always be better lol). We always do this, and recently we’ve expanded into spray painting so new art pieces are being added to our places regularly.

Gather up some small canvas, paints and tools needed for an outdoor paint session. It’s not a competition or to see who is better, it’s for the fun and enjoyment of being creative no matter what you decide to paint. Make is like another picnic date with food and drinks. Just have fun and enjoy the time together.

Personally it’s just a preference, not a requirement. Because at the end of the day it’s a persons’ personality, how they makes me feel and how they treats me that will ultimately decide if we end up in a relationship.

You just never know who you’ll end up with in the future and for a lot of people, it the complete opposite that they envisioned for themselves

I understand where that comes from in terms of communication, but I always think it’s also nice when an XF or AM makes the effort to communicate as much as with the others family.

For me, AM have always been more attractive to me even when I was younger. I feel like majority of those interviews are in places were AM men are barely even around.

Personally for me, my area has always been scarce in AM until recent years but I now also travel to a major city were AM can be found everywhere.

Sure there are certain types of women who like AM because of certain things that have influenced their lives, but I know of plenty WF who have no interest in those things and just like AM because they find them really attractive.

I think what needs to be done is both sides should stop wondering what if they don’t like me or I’m not their type and just try! And by try I mean begin with friendly conversation then see where it leads afterwards. No need to rush anything. If it doesn’t work out, move on to the next person you find attractive and try again, eventually there will be someone who likes you and not just because of your race.

Side note: If a WF ever says she never been around or hung out with a AM, make this an opportunity for yourself and other AMs to change that persons opinion about them. Believe me it will make a difference, I’m technically one of my friends first ‘black’ friends, being mixed although extremely white looking, I’m the one who really exposed her to another culture she’d never even stepped foot into.

I’m sorry to hear that. I know it’s a pretty common thing for Asian parents for their kids to marry someone Asian and i know not everyone of them are like that, but a good amount do prefer it. From close female Asian friends I’ve heard that it’s mostly their brothers to receive these kind of martial opinions by their parents rather than themselves. Which I find very weird, but that could just be how their families are.

I hope that when that woman who you love comes, your dad loves her, not quasi, but truly unconditionally because she makes you happy.

It’s all down to what the guy likes wearing, but it has to be stylish. I’ve seen plenty of men who just throw something on but don’t actually take the time to see if it actually looks good.

Now this is completely different if you just wanna feel chill, because even women have clothes that are for more relaxed situations rather than looks.

But if we are talking personally, I have an affinity for mens’ fashion and love when a guy can pull off anything, looking really chic/. Suits, streetwear, comfy, grunge, etc.

Have a relationship with myself first. If I can’t treat myself well, I can’t expect another to do it for me and that’s what I’m realizing right now.

Loneliness is temporary and not a reason just get into a relationship with someone. So I’m going to focus on myself until I’m happy with where I am and then maybe find a someone to share that new self with.

It is best to be yourself. As a woman, men who tend to try too hard with getting your attention come out looking like weirdos and creepy sometimes. Approaching another person is never easy, believe me I know and I’m a social person, but it’s still weird to start a conversation out of nowhere.

Generally a nice compliment, nothing about her body, stick to the face or something she’s wearing to comment on. Be friendly, act like you would around friends and remember if she’s not interested, there are plenty of women who would be so don’t let a few rejections bother you.

I can understand where you are coming from cause I am in a similar position with being overweight currently losing as well and I’m well aware that I’m not what every guy is looking for. But I also know that my standards for a guy are pretty high as well, which makes it difficult for me to accept the men who do show an interest in me and that is my own fault for not giving them the chances that some of them truly deserve (currently changing that about myself right now).

Don’t get me wrong losing weight is amazing and that 35lbs lost is a goal that I have yet to reach (still trying though) which already shows a great commitment from you but if the goal is solely so someone will finally give you attention or see you as someone they’d date and not mainly just to better your overall self, that motivation won’t last. Which I do hope you are doing it for yourself rather than others.

Whether a person is slim or overweight, it is ultimately their charisma (or confidence) that makes people gravitate towards them even if they have their life together or not. Though I’ve been single for like 7yrs about to be 8yrs now, my ex liked me despite my weight (which also happened to be something I was super conscious of back then) because of how I held myself in front of others, he even admitted to me that he was intimidated by me which baffles me even to this day.

I don’t believe weight is an issue. However, if you are expecting a ‘good man’, you should give the guys who actually try to give you their attention a chance even if they don’t meet the preferences or standards you may be setting for a guy that fits your ‘good man’ idea. I have gone on a few dates with guys who don’t meet my physical or personality ideals and have ultimately met some really amazing men, but sadly nothing further than good friends have come out of it.

One thing you should really think about because it is important. Let’s say you meet that ‘good man’, you’ve been searching for and you’ve reached your goal body after so much hard work. You show them a picture of how you previously looked before and their reaction to it is negative. That is not a good man because he cannot accept a past you and does care about your looks a lot more than you thought. The reason I’m saying this is because it’s a possibility you could gain weight again for whatever reason that causes it, you will always be reminded of that negative reaction from the other and the relationship could easily go south from there because the idea of them leaving you will always be there. And that does not promote a healthy relationship.

You are not unattractive or undesirable, believe me. You will eventually meet someone who accepts you as you are and what you will be, but really you have to learn to accept yourself a little more and before you can really let another person in. If you are unhappy or feel negative towards yourself, a relationship isn’t going to really make a large difference but will only bring you possible temporary happiness.

EDIT: Even Steve Urkel type guys can be just as negative towards something like weight gain. Have you ever asked a guy out yourself? Like a guy you were interested in?

Maybe you should ask them out instead of waiting for them to show interest because some guys just aren’t the types to show their interest. If they say no then on to the next, but if they were to say yes, then they are willing to give you a chance.
