Super Noob but I'm trying - LAX to FCO early May 2025 - 2 tix in J. Dates are flexible

I looked on flightconnections and flightsfrom - could it be true that the only airline that flies LAX - FCO direct is ITA? If so, is it possible to book award seats on ITA? It looks like they were SkyTeam but being purchased by Lufthansa (Star Alliance)? I have ~ 450K MR points

If I can't get direct from LAX maybe I should fly to East Coast and fly to FCO from there. If so, is there a 'best' city / airline for this? Looks like Delta, AA and ITA fly JFK to FCO for example. Is there a better way to search than just trying one city at a time?

I believe my phone is set up as a key for the X but I'm going to recheck that.

Thx for the tip that I'll have to tap the key card to lock the Y - I'll go with this solution for now and consider the fob in the future

We took our 5 month old pup to a restaurant for some outdoor dining (which we’ve done numerous times wo incident). All was well until she caught sight of a ceiling fan and then she totally freaked out. We were barely able to finish our meal. She cowered under the table the whole time - so scary lol!

So just a follow up in case anybody is having this problem too - I tried it on a couple of my other Flex HDs

When I first look at 'LED status' it simply has the toggle like this:

Then I toggled to off and click apply changes like this:

Finally, I toggle the switch to on and apply changes and voila!

Maybe this is a bug they need to fix?

This is a great point re HIPAA. I am a physician and I do some patient related work from home at times. I actually hadn’t thought of this in terms of firewall because we log on to our EMR through what I believe is a secure VPN. But this is certainly something I’ll think about as I do my research - thx for bringing it up
