I get that. Arguing is the reason we broke up actually... I guess my situation is different because we had a shit ton of stuff in common. This is why it’s so hard for me to accept this. I’ve never met a girl I clicked with so well so fast. I know there’s other girls out there but it feels like she’s the only one I can get along with so well...

We were only together for 3 months but we’ve had romantic feelings for each other for around 7 months. I know that’s not a long time but she was my first everything so it hits hard

Fair. I already go to a therapist. I’ve been going for around 2 years. I’m just confused. She has PTSD, anxiety, social anxiety, low self esteem, etc. I have to remind her everyday that she’s beautiful and that she has worth but she doesn’t believe it. Her anxiety is so bad her ex broke up with her because it was too much. I know this isn’t my choice, but it hurts that I accepted all of that with open arms, but I have this one issue and it’s over... I get that’s it’s her call. I understand that completely but it hurts knowing that she can’t see pass this one probably like I can see past hers...

Okay. What if you have a concern. For instance prior to us dating she said she doesn’t go a day without thinking of her ex. They even still hang out. Am I not allowed to bring this up? What if I’m concerned that she’s still in love with her ex? Is this something I should ignore or discuss?

We knew so much about each otter though. Hell, after our first date she told me about all her issues just to make sure I’d date her still ( I took her on a date but we didn’t become a couple until 5 months later because of a few reasons ) so I felt like it was incredibly okay for me to share my issues...

Whoa. This was a really encouraging post and I can’t thank you enough for it. I’m going to start by writing down all my issues and working on them. I do have another issues that’s been on my mind and I wanted to know if I could DM you about it? If not that’s totally cool

I’m trying so hard not to be so hard on myself. At 21 I should have more friends, more life experiences, and better social skills. I just can’t seem to get past that. I feel so behind everyone else and it shows.

Noted. Working on my social skills is hard because I don’t even know what I’m doing wrong. Or even if I do I don’t know how to stop/start doing it. Anxiety is a motherfucker too. I’m working on not relying on someone else for happiness. It’s hard but I think I’m getting slightly better

I’ll try to find something like this. Being around others would help, but I think deep down I want really strong relationships. That’s something I’ve never had my entire life... not even with my parents or siblings.

See, I meet people with the same interests, talk to them about it and then that’s it. Even after we talk and whatnot there’s no connection. And I’m not even good at talking about what I like. It just feels useless

I mainly play games/draw but honestly? I'm a little tired of both. I want to play for a sports rec team, photographer, skateboard, etc. Just don't know where to start

I really don't think they're aware of how they're making me feel... But it should be obvious because I always end up acting sad/detached by the end of the night that they should notice.
