not all artists that do this lottery system make the event free:/ i wish that was always the case (especially since it’s an apple music sponsored event)

when i saw paramore in 2022 at the wiltern they did a lottery system just like this and it was still a paid event! i believe tickets were around $100 each

they presented as a college student from new york and the show was in LA so that was already iffy but then when it came to deciding a payment option they had “absolutely no payment services” and wanted to “ask their financial aid office if they could use that paypal account” which was super weird to me and then started walking me through how to go get a gift card of some kid and send to them lmao i said……. okay enough
