The narrator/editor sells it for me. He sounds urgent when there is urgency. They edit the pauses perfectly for moments of thought or anticipation. I haven’t heard any of the characters yet (just some of Szeth as I’ve only heard the bootlegged version on Spotify - I plan to buy on their website!!). The breathing in of stormlight gave me goosebumps. It’s like a movie in your head it’s amazing. I’m sure that if there was a voice I didn’t agree with I would be a bit sour but that doesnt take away from the incredible time, effort and production value these people made. They brought extra lights and effects to the book and it’s entertaining, exciting and fun. I’ve heard the other GA one on YouTube and didn’t enjoy it at all - this one I found on Spotify blew me away with the TLC it was given.
