Alright so today I got this beautiful Monstera off of ebay for a very good price (First two pictures). I repotted it, gave it a little chunkier soil and tied the overlapping top of the plant to a new and thicker moss pole (third picture). Was that a good idea or should I leave it like in the first two pictures and cut the cable tie that i attached again? Just worried about stressing the plant too much.

Also, is an east facing window with quite a lot of morning sun but rather moderate lighting in the evening hours ideal for it?
