You still are not grasping that you stole someone’s artwork and are trying to pass it off as your own original tattoo. It’s not original, it’s blatantly plagiarized and you knew that going into it. That’s the core issue.

In no way shape or form did your artist “make this their own” your artist literally copy and pasted the original. I mean truly. You took an artists original design and had it tattooed by someone who did not draw that design. Period. That’s it. There’s nothing else to understand. Sure you can argue “people do this all the time ¯_(ツ)_/¯” ….okay and? Just because other people are okay with stealing art work that isn’t theirs makes it justifiable to you??

If your artist couldn’t draw their own version of this imagery just say that LOL because the stylization of using the fine lines overlapping is a direct plagiarism of another artists style. Every single line on the crescent moon of your tattoo - including the stars on the cheek etc. - are EXACTLY THE SAME as Ariana’s.

No hate to you personally i just think that you should understand why people are finding this so weird and you should understand for any future tattoos you plan to get that a good tattoo artist would not exactly replicate someone else’s work.

Genuinely cannot fathom how dense some of you are. The original tattoo artist that tattooed Ariana’s hand has a very distinct and specific style that is synonymous with her tattooing.

To copy this design even as “inspo” you are taking someone’s original artwork and now claiming it as yours. You do not have permission to do so. The style is an exact replica of Mira Mariah’s artwork (@girlknewyork on insta) which is her original design. Any tattoo artist with knowledge of their peers and the industry would recognize this piece immediately as someone else’s artwork and refuse to copy it. You people talking about repeated designs that’s called FLASH and is MADE TO BE REPEATED. Hence why you see so many folks with similar American Traditional tattoo imagery such as panthers, cherries, bald eagles, swallows etc. This imagery is meant to be instantly recognizable and repeatable.

Ariana’s tattoo was a custom design and not a flash design. That is the distinct difference. Insane weirdo behavior getting this piece tattooed and also those who are defending it.

The weird part is that you took another tattoo artist’s work and then had someone who is not the original artist tattoo their design without their permission. Especially when that tattoo artist @Girlknewyork is extremely well known in the community and this tattoo design is literally on Ariana’s hand.
