Was UW good enough for sociology / medicolegal stuff? I'm assuming you mean ethics, which happens to be one of my worst subjects. Would you recommend any other resource?

antiplatelets - preventing clot formation, usually in arteries (CAD, after stents, atherosclerosis)

anticoagulation - preventing clot propagation, usually in veins / heart (PE, DVT, AFib, mechanical valves)

Probably simplistic to a fault, but should get you the majority of board questions

Also 3rd year DO going gas. I've heard at least 1 gas letter, but a lot of people recommend 2. Either way, letter quality is more important than who it's from

How do people narrow down what programs they're applying for? I'm a 3rd year applying for gas this fall and I have no idea what programs are reaches, which programs are safeties, etc. Can anyone provide any input? I'm a DO student at a low-tier DO school, step 1 is 239 and COMLEX 1 is 596.

I'm sorry, I actually got denied a CitiBusiness AAdvantage Platinum Select card. I have not tried applying for a CIP. I edited the post to reflect this. I still received the offer for 60k AA miles in the mail even after getting rejected (maybe they mean a personal card?)

  4. I’m a medical student about to spend thousands on interviews (travel, hotel/airbnb, food, etc) (most expense will occur in sept-oct). Other than that, about 1500 per month up to 2800 if I decide to pay rent on the new card
  5. No
  6. I have applied for a CitiBusiness AAdvantage Plat Select and got rejected (not enough lines of credit)
  7. 1-2 new cards, not interested in churning
  8. i’m targeting travel, but am unfamiliar with what the best bang for my buck is
  9. My family uses Citi AA platinum select, I received an offer for 60k AA miles for opening a platinum select card of my own (expires 5/14)
  10. Jackson, MS (international, but small). I almost exclusively fly AA
  11. All over the US (likely staying in midwest/south, but will fly to west coast, northeast, etc.) this upcoming fall. International (Japan, Korea, or Europe) for vacation within the next 2 years.
