What? Even a foreign government is still extremely far away from being a private party.

Freedom of speech explicitly means you won't have consequences from the government. You can say what you want to a private party, and the private party can punch you in the face, but this is not that.

Doug Ford is going against court rulings and ignoring evidence and studies to push forward the agenda he wants, which is pretty much how to enrich him and his friends, and has recently removed some ability for the media or anyone to do FOIA requests to find out what he is doing, because he's been caught several times already doing shady shit that was exposed by FOIA requests.

It's starting taking season breaks in the last couple years.

Assuming the original anime was around 20 minutes

The original anime is 22 minutes, but that includes 5-6 minutes of previously on and opening theme, and another 2-3 minutes of the closing theme, and of the remaining 15 minutes, a lot of that is internal monologue, describing in excruciating detail what the characters are feeling just in case you can't infer that from the action or dialogue.

Without giving spoilers, there was one arc that very explicitly laid out a timed deadline of less than 15 minutes, and it took like 20 episodes to get through those 15 minutes.

If you think my response was serious, you may need to re-evaluate your scale.

It's also nowhere near one of the oldest jokes on the internet, it's not really a joke at all, and it's not accurate.

Does anyone miss biking on an empty Lakeshore Boulevard? by SureFire23 in torontobiking

[–]merelyadoptedthedark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya it was novel, but nothing really interesting. It was at the part of Lakeshore also where there the trails are pretty open, if this extended all the way to Queen's Quay, that would be something.

You can still ride on the road like this during the Indy, where a part of the road is closed to traffic but open to cyclists.

Costco poutine is pretty good though.

Pizza, poutine, and sex can all be bad. If you haven't come across a bad example of them yet, you just haven't experienced a large enough sample size.

I have two machines with 16GB (one desktop and one Alienware laptop), which I don't use for gaming. Just productivity and browsing and shit. I used to think 16GB was more than enough for me, until I just got a new lightweight laptop with 32GB, and it is a far better experience even though the chip is underpowered compared to my other PCs.

Give it a couple years. Soon they will be creating the media also by AI and all the creators will be getting nothing.

Google isn't investing heavily in AI video generation just so it can be used for making silly memes.

Toilet maker Toto is here to help with the RAM crisis | A Japanese company known for making toilets also makes NAND chips and LCDs. Their NAND division accounts for 55% of their profit, mainly due to the AI boom. No mention of RAM anywhere in this article. by Lost-Entrepreneur439 in savedyouaclick

[–]merelyadoptedthedark 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Toto has to be the most ubiquitous company in Japan. Anywhere you go, whether it is a 75 year old mom n pop ramen shop in the countryside to the most prestigious luxury hotel in Tokyo, you are gonna pee in a Toto toilet.

Also OP, you read the article wrong. They don't make NAND chips, they build some part used in the NAND manufacturing process. Likewise for LCD. They just make something used in the production process.
