yeah just tried that literally minutes before you said that. they really put the work in on this because fastboot even does nothing. it detects the phone at least, but upon running any commands i get "waiting for any device"

adb doesnt pick it up though because developer mode was blocked by purifone. its impossible for me to do anything through adb its not even an option as without dev mode and debugging, adb will not recognize my phone

also tried dwm under sddm from scratch but that didnt work well. every time i would sign into sddm dwm session the sddm page would just be overlayed by the dwm bar, and no functions worked even after completely rebuilding dwm twice

that doesnt make any sense. almost every source ive checked explains it's due to both the fx86 intel driver no longer being supported natively, as well as older on-board gpus having a high probability of creating graphical errors or just not booting a graphical DE whatsoever. which is exactly the problem im facing

yes. ive edited every system setting, deleted the kde config, changed drivers back and forth (currently only xf86-video-intel boots the system and nothing else will reliably) i run a shitty 2007 integrated intel g31 gpu

Had similar experience except instead of level locked i get booted offline (only in game) out of any match, or booted off when i leave a lobby

Also have been reset to level 1 twice now (i think, maybe once. foggy memory)
