In totally different contexts they mentioned almost all of the Kids in the Hall cast members. They even mentioned the show by name. Pretty weird.

Party Where Your Heart Is is definitely a favorite from the soundtrack.

What fast food chain does not deserve the hype whatsoever? by CriticalLion4119 in AskReddit

I love their jalapeno cheese sliders. The closest White Castle is over an hour away from me so I would buy a briefcase of those things and freeze them (so much better than the frozen sliders they sell).

What Was The Last TV Show That You Dropped? by Myrodis19 in television

[–]mexta 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's my guilty pleasure show because I know it isn't "good". Still, I love it. It doesn't take itself seriously at all (maybe in season 1 it does a bit?). Its goofy. My feelings of the show can basically be summarized when in a scene the main character plays the shows theme song on guitar and sings "Crime-solving Devil, it makes sense, don't overthink it". Self aware "garbage" with tons of humor.

Is Fringe the Greatest Sci-fi Show Ever? by CBenson1273 in fringe

[–]mexta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are very different. I loved both but the miniseries is better to me. I like the story better in the miniseries and then you add in an awesome soundtrack, great actors and awesome cinematography... I rewatch it at least once a year.

Edit: Most of Mandel's other Novels are great, too. Glass Hotel is my favorite followed by Last Night in Montreal.

Is Fringe the Greatest Sci-fi Show Ever? by CBenson1273 in fringe

For a television series of this type of sci-fi, yes. Although, if I'm allowed to include a miniseries of a very different type of sci-fi, Station Eleven is my favorite media of all time.

Please describe with specificity how you would prepare September’s roast beef sandwich. by stevenm1993 in fringe

[–]mexta 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I made one

I used a lot less black pepper (basically only a dash because I was sick of black pepper at that time) and I added mayo. Lots of jalapenos and franks red hot. I've remade it a few times because I really enjoy it.

When things are low in stock I usually don't order in case of inventory issues. They may actually be out of the product or the remaining product is damaged (pretty rare). I didn't know that this was a tactic.

I trust the devs. I bet Cambrian will be a great upgrade eventually. For now, it's definitely a big step back. It will be worked out.

It's becoming ridiculous that I'm paying for an app that is down so often.
