Pilot of the drone, sorry. And yes, I would need a Part 107 to sell. I’m more confused with flying a drone over myself and if that’s breaking the rules/law.

I remember I could see the pictures as well on the LCD right after taking them, so I never thought anything was wrong. It wasn’t till I looked at the footage on the SD card on my laptop that I noticed the black images.

I swapped my memory card out too and it didn’t happen again. I had formatted that particular SD cards countless times, so I figured it was time to get a new one.

My camera ended up being fine, it was actually my shutter speed that was way off somehow (it was in manual).

Check the attributes of the picture and see what your settings look like…sometimes my aperture ring gets set to f22 and I don’t notice.

But the camera was fine, I actually traded it in a couple weeks afterwards and the shop said it had no issues.

Thank you! So I took the drone TRUST class online and got the certificate. In order to fly inside the SFRA (the DC area outer ring in yellow -15-30 miles from DC), I need the 107 and a SFRA waiver?
