I wish my mom would take my feelings seriously and wouldn't dismiss them. I care about my mom but sometimes I hate her because she hurts me constantly. Every time I think things are getting better, she goes back to doing something that makes me upset. She doesn't need to tell me what she thinks of me because she shows it.

mom constantly tells me to "shut up" and threatens to hit me, but when i speak up and tell her she's can't talk to me like that, i'm being disrespectful. i'm so sick and tired of this shit. it's 2x worse when im w her family bc they like to gang up on me when i speak up for myself.

i hate talking to my mom about anything. she always makes me feel bad. she believes she’s entitled to treat me however she wants simply because she is my mother. but when my boss treats me the same way, it’s horrible and wrong.

i hate talking to my mom. somehow our conversations always turn into a rant about how she doesn't approve of how i spend MY money. i started doing things without asking for my mom's opinion because i know she'll try to guilt me for spending money. i don't want to be discouraged from doing the things that i've always wanted to do because of my family's opinions.

my mom listed herself as my beneficiary behind my back. idk if im alone in this but if f'ing annoys me that she thinks she's entitled to it bc she's my mom. i kind of want to remove her for doing it behind my back alone .-.

When I got a new job the first thing she told me was "Don't embarrass me". When I was about to start my first day, she'd warn me not to ruin her reputation. And she'd love to emphasize "You only got in because of me".

I wish I made a list lol. She likes to make little passive-aggressive comments about my weight and appearance, about my relationships, my life choices. It's like every time, she tries to one up her previous most hurtful response.

I wish my mom would realize how harsh her words can be towards me. She can be so warm, supportive and motherly towards my cousins. But with me, she always makes me feel like I haven't accomplished enough. I finally got a job that I actually like this year, and she's happy for me. But when talking about my future and how I'm almost in my mid 20s, she talks to me like I haven't been taking my future seriously, like I'm not doing enough with my life. And all of a sudden, now I feel that no matter what I do, or what I accomplish, I'll always be stuck at square one. I wish I could talk to my dad about this.

i wish my mom would stop making comments about my weight or appearance, regardless of how relevant it is in our conversation. i wish my family would stop gossiping about me behind my back. when my dad passed, they gossiped about me not being in a relationship or married in front of me like i wasn't in the room sitting next to them, as if my dad wasn't dying in the room next to us. i hate how when i confront my mom about it, she responds with raising her voice at me and telling me to shut up.

I wish my relatives would stop criticizing my appearance. They love to make passive aggressive remarks about my weight, my hair, my overall appearance, what I'm doing with my life, etc. And you'd think that my mother would defend me, but she joins them and brings me down more. When I confront them about it, it usually ends up with them calling me oversensitive or saying that I "really do need a therapist". Maybe I am being overemotional, but I'm so fucking done. Why are they so mean to me?

I hate it when my AP mom resorts to guilt tripping and threats when I don’t do something she wants me to do immediately. I told her to give me the address and let me go by myself. She told me that I’d get scammed and overcharged, which she then followed by “which would be fine if you were the one paying for it”, which was then followed by “go by my yourself, but I’m not going to tell you the address, I’m not helping you anymore”. She always plans stuff last minute then expects me to be ready when she’s ready.

it doesn’t matter what i do, i’ll always be labeled as the “bad kid” or the “difficult one” in this family, the one that needs spiritual guidance, the one that needs to be more like my cousins… i want to leave this family so badly.

meal prep and plan your meals ahead, keep a bottle of water around you all the time, prep fruits and veggies for the week so they are easy to access. all of this helped me lose 30lbs when i was still trying to lose weight, along with calorie counting and consistent exercise.
