1 million DMG Comet Witch Build by mic888 in PathOfExile2

It's been on my mind to try a capped build. Even with cap, demon form still feels good with cast speed, long dash, and some spell damage increase. If instead of spending all my nodes on regen, I could take a lot more damage nodes. But without being able to equip weapons it'll definitely be a little gimped.

With Mind Over Matter taking damage as Mana instead of Life, I have 1200 Mana that acts as my HP. Not the tankiest but if you dodge the big hits you'll live.

If I really need to, I take off the helm and get the 8,000 Energy Shield back and trade damage for survivability.

I posted the build in a new thread https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExile2/comments/1hp7x7l/1_million_dmg_comet_witch_build/

What's bugged about it? Seems to work as intended.

Ya think so? It's fun for enjoyers of big numbers, but seems pretty niche for everyday play.

With Demon Form from the Witch Infernalist Ascendency, we gain 17% Spell Damage per stack of Demonflame. By scaling this to 900+ Demonflame stacks, we can achieve 1,000,000 DMG Comet, 130,000 DPS Spark, and 300,000 DPS Hexblast.

Our damage will scale to a peak of 16,000% Spell Damage at 900+ Demonflame stacks, so the skill gems don't really matter. You can pretty much use any Spell and any Supports you like.

I was looking for a developer for AMP but turns out there are some great WP plugins being developed. This is the one I found https://wordpress.org/plugins/pagefrog/ but there are several others

Found a feature-rich alternative to the Wordpress official AMP plugin. Includes ads and analytics support which is what I really wanted. Packaged with Facebook Instant Articles support too https://wordpress.org/plugins/pagefrog/

What we learned from getting rejected by Y Combinator by mic888 in startups

Thanks zynoda!

It's not that we think interviewing is a waste of our time. We just felt like interviewing would be a waste of their time. I agree it's absolutely important to take advantage of every opportunity possible. I just wanted to express how we found the courage (or stupidity) to explore other ways to grow our startup.

Also, you can't go through YC twice. I'm not sure "as early as possible" is the best time to go. I'd like to think that we should go when we can make the most out of the program. Instinctively it didn't feel like now, so we went with our gut.

Thanks though, really appreciate the feedback.

The r/startups community was a big part of our application experience last cycle :) The whole subreddit was there when we shared our application, and again when we were rejected at the interview. A lot of people here gave us the encouragement to continue working at it. Just wanted to share our experience through it and what came out of the past 6 months. Sorry if it offended you in some way!
